The Churandy Martina Foundation’s highly anticipated award night is finally here!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening and to don your finest gold, silver, or bronze attire and join us for a night of celebration, live music, and charitable giving. The event will be held at Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort.

The evening will be filled with live music, dinner and drinks, and the presentation of the Churandy Martina Awards. Also, the foundation will inform you about last years projects and all the good things the foundation has done for the youth on Curacao.

Throughout your dinner, you can enjoy the show with live music by Izaline Calister and Thijs Borsten and laugh together by the show of Murth Mossel. The highlight of the evening is undoubtedly the presentation of the awards. The foundation has selected a diverse range of nominees, representing different good causes, who have made significant contributions to the island’s youth.

And the best part? All proceeds from the event will go to support the foundation’s charitable initiatives, which empower underprivileged communities and provide life-changing opportunities to those in need.

2023 Churandy Martina Award Night

Hereby we share with you the good news about the successful 2nd edition of the Churandy Martina Foundation (CMF), which took place last Saturday. In its first year, the CMF has been very successful in providing assistance to four organizations chosen by the CMF.

The Churandy Martina Foundation was founded by the sprinter of the same name, with the goal of inspiring and supporting young people to develop their talents, both athletically and personally. With the CMF foundation we want to encourage youth to participate more in sports.

During this Churandy Martina award evening, 4 organizations (Curacaose Atletiek Bond (CAB), Fundashon Desaroyo i Progreso, Centro Hubenil Mahuma and FFPAM), which we supported last year, were put in the spotlight for their commitment to the sporting youth.
Three awards were also presented to Un smail pa Korsou, Basketball team the Sharks and Instituto Buena Vista who were presented with nice amounts of money to further realize their charities here.

During the award night, several artists performed and it concluded with a small auction.
