‘Stichting Churandy Martina’ is a non-profit organization founded in 2022, with the aim of creating equal opportunities for Curaçao youth by combining sports and education.

The foundation strives to make sports and education accessible to children from all walks of life, regardless of their race, income, gender or the teams they play for.

In collaboration with the foundation, we will organize a charity golf tournament ‘Churandy Martina Charity Invitational’ on Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort. The event will be held on April 29th with a Dinner & Gala Night.

2nd edition Churandy Martina Foundation Golf Tournament at Blue Bay was a great success!

The second edition of Churandy Martina Foundation Fundraising Golf fest, was again a great success. 1st prize Nett went to the duo of Lilo Sulvaran and Vincent Zrour. The duo of Walter Hofstede and Rick Adriaans won the Gross with 62 strokes.

The entire tournament was dedicated to raising funds for the Churandy Martina Foundation, which dedicates itself to sports and education for the youth of Curacao. Recently, the foundation was able to provide plenty of equipment for the CAB, Curacao Athletics Association. The Churandy Martina Foundation has also purchased two buses, including sports equipment, with which to visit schools to give sports lessons at schools where few or no sports lessons are given.

During the tournament, players were able to play various challenges, which helped raise additional funds for charity. A “Volkswagen Tiguan” for the “hole in one” at the third hole, playing a ball as close as possible to an object on the course or as close as possible to a marked line on the course. Players could win great prizes provided by sponsors.

Churandy Martina was very pleased with the success of the second edition of this great golf event. Pictured are the winners of the successful golf competition.
