The evening will be filled with live music, dinner and drinks, and the presentation of the Churandy Martina Awards. Also, the foundation will inform you about last years projects and all the good things the foundation has done for the youth on Curacao. Of course ”Mr. Smile“ Churandy Martina will be the host of the evening, to give you a warm welcome.
Churandy Martina Charity Invitational 2023
Stichting Churandy Martina is a non-profit organization founded in 2022, with the aim of creating equal opportunities for Curacao youth by combining sports, games and education.
The foundation strives to make sports and education accessible to children from all walks of life, regardless of their race, income, gender or the teams they play for.
In collaboration with the foundation, we will organize a charity golf tournament ‘Churandy Martina Charity Invitational’ on Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort. The event will be held on April 29th with a Dinner & Gala Night.

Our mission
The mission of the foundation is to create an environment in which Curacao youth are motivated to improve their skills in both sports and learning. We want to achieve this by on the one hand giving the children tools to improve their sports skills, while on the other hand attention is paid to tutoring and improving their school performance. In this way we hope to realize opportunities for the children that would otherwise not be there. We strive to make this accessible to children from all walks of life, regardless of their race, income, gender or the teams they play for.

2022: Fundraising auction @ Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort
On Saturday April 30, the Churandy Martina Foundation organized a large fundraising event, in collaboration with Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort. This event was a huge success and yielded, together with golf tournament, no less than ANG 375,000 for the foundation.

2023: Award Night @ Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort
During this Churandy Martina award evening, 4 organizations (Curacaose Atletiek Bond (CAB), Fundashon Desaroyo i Progreso, Centro Hubenil Mahuma and FFPAM), which we supported last year, were put in the limelight for their commitment to the sporting youth.
Three awards were also presented to Un smail pa Korsou, Basketball team the Sharks and Instituto Buena Vista who were presented with nice amounts of money to further realize their charities here.
During the award night, several artists performed and it concluded with a small auction.
We are very grateful for the support of our sponsors, Blue Bay Resort and all the suppliers, who helped us. We would also like to thank all the volunteers for their efforts in making this evening a great success.

2023: Fundraising golf tournament @ Blue Bay Curacao Golf & Beach Resort
2nd edition Churandy Martina Foundation Golf Tournament at Blue Bay was a great success!
The entire tournament was dedicated to raising funds for the Churandy Martina Foundation, which dedicates itself to sports and education for the youth of Curacao. Recently, the foundation was able to provide plenty of equipment for the CAB, Curacao Athletics Association. The Churandy Martina Foundation has also purchased two buses, including sports equipment, with which to visit schools to give sports lessons at schools where few or no sports lessons are given.

"It takes a village to raise a child"
In August 2022, the Churandy Martina Foundation made its first donation to the FFAPM. The FFAPM (Fundashon Formashon Awe Progreso Mañan) is a foundation that has an institute under its supervision that supports children, young people and their families.
This guidance is both cognitive and social-emotional. Activities offered there are homework policy, music lessons and cultural and artistic education.
